Wet Tuesday...

Even though, it's raining today.

Yesterday, I recieved in the post my New Moon Dvd.
I had watched it and it was great!

Before I watched it though, I made some quick and easy
Cheese Straws by Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall and Fizz Carr from

Don't these look tasty?? Because they sure did taste fantastic!

But before I tuck into them, I forgot to make
some for Nessie to have. We can't forget to
make her a mini portion of Cheese straws, can we??

These are homemade mini cheese straws for Nessie.

Mini Cheese Straws

Small amounts of matured cheddar cheese (grated),
 1oz Plain flour,
1/4 small Egg yolk,
Pinch of Salt
1 1/2 teaspoons of unsalted Butter.
(You can use water, if you
don't want to use the butter.)

Mix it all together, make small flat strips and pop it in an hot oven (220C/425F/Gas 7)
for 8 mins and Hey Presto! Mini Cheese strips.

Why not send in a photograph of your food creations to us?? at nessiethehamster@hotmail.com

Let's see what Nessie thinks of them...

Looks like she's tucking straight into it...

Opps! She's dropped a crumb...

She looks sleepy & hungry at the same time...

Well, all I can tell you is she ate all of it and pouched it away for laters.
